Spartak Resetsky Arkhangelsk Biography

His “free jazz”, that is, free jazz, not limited by any conventions, became part of the life of the generation that joined him. And Arkhangelsk in the country and the world became known as the city of jazz. Of course, Vladimir Resetsky was more than a musician. He was a man of influence with a soft, but at the same time powerful power that a creative and selfless person can possess.

He was a pilgrim, which is always on the way. But the main thing is that he knew where and why he was going. And at the same time he was nearby. Even when he left forever ... But living memory requires constant feeding. It is preserved by Spartak Resetsky, the son of the musician. It is called "Jazz Archangel. Vladimir Resetsky. " The project was supported by the Presidential Fund of Cultural Initiatives.

We are talking to Spartak Resetsky about who his father was for him, and why today it is so important not only to maintain his work, but also to popularize him, in particular among schoolchildren and students who are just beginning their life path. I get several meetings per month. Usually, before starting the conversation, I ask which of the famous fellow countrymen they know.

More often called Lomonosov, Shergin, Pisakhov. Of course, these are our outstanding fellow countrymen, known throughout the world. But there are other iconic personalities who have done a lot for the city, region and country too. And it is fair to remember them, to know about their work. Among such people, of course, is my father Vladimir Resetsky.

And then they turn on ... I tell them - do not be afraid to set high goals. You can achieve them if you lift the bar all the time. As Vladimir Zavsky did, who was not afraid to offer new and unusual both in music and in public life. During such concerts, children felt very free.

Spartak Resetsky Arkhangelsk Biography

For example, a video has been preserved, which captures the performance of Arkady Schilloper. He was surrounded by children who rose from the hall, and thus themselves became participants in this performance. He let them open, considered them very talented. At that time it was new. I remember that you continued this father’s project after his departure. How was it?

Children always came to his classes with their parents-they also had to be “educated” so that they looked differently at their children, realize that they were talented, subtly feeling not only music, but also the world around him. After my father left, I thought that these meetings should be continued. During the classes, we became very friends. And our communication lasted five years.

For me, these years have become very expensive, and I cordially thank them all for the opportunity to plunge into such a free and interesting world. Right during the event, the girl Olya and her mother came up to me, who went to cultural and spiritual lessons to Vladimir Zavsky, and later, in the zero, to me. They gave me an album with photos: his first half is classes with my father, and the second - with me.

I was so moved that I could not say - a com stood in my throat. Then he asked - do they still remember Vladimir Resetsky? The answer followed: “How! After all, he saved us! I grew up in this environment - music, creativity, free communication. And I absorbed all this from early childhood. And, when they ask me about my education, I reply that my main education is my father.

And from my mother I got love in the full sense of the word. I saw how my father talked with people, he could easily approach anyone and speak - at least on the street, even in a tram. As Igor Gavrilov, the director of the Yaroslavl jazz center and the organizer of the jazz over the Volga, said about his father in our film: “When he is walking around the city, even stones are talking to him there!

I often give examples of attitude to my work from my father’s life. They are very indicative. Despite the recognition of the title “Honored Artist of Russia”, Master of Jazz, and an excellent possession of the instrument, he was engaged in a saxophone every day. In order not to interfere with anyone, he did it without sound. Usually he set himself an album with reproductions of masterpieces of world art.

I used any opportunity for such classes - on the train, on the plane, when moving from one place to another, on the bus - it was only heard how the sagsophone valves were knocking. Vladimir Resetsky "? Modern schoolchildren and students have never even heard the name Vladimir Resetsky. But this is our story, a reason for pride. First, I decided to make a film about my father.

I did not one. My eldest daughter Valeria Zavtskaya spent a huge job. And from this film they began to “dance” further. I don’t remember who told me: "Spartak, this is your mission." And my creative meetings appeared with schoolchildren and students of the city of Arkhangelsk. As well as open shows of the film in different cities. And then we issued a project and filed a grant. And quite unexpectedly won!

During this year, we managed to do a lot on the project. In the year on the map of Arkhangelsk, the name of Vladimir Retsky appeared. The square in front of the Arkhangelsk City Cultural Center, in which his father worked for many years, was assigned his name.In the summer, a very interesting and spectacular street exhibition “Vladimir Resetsky - 80” was organized on Chumbarovka.

In the Lomonosovsky Palace of Culture, an exhibition of unique posters and posters of the Arkhangelsk jazz group, which was created and headed by the father, continues to work. The album represents the compilation of the previously unrelated works of the father. I am digging into the family of audio cassettes with records for several months. And then it turned out that fans of the work of Vladimir Resetsky are quite a large number, and not only from Arkhangelsk.

And the help in the release of the disk was provided by a great lover of Jazz Artyom RNIP. For which I am very grateful to them! Another story. The book "Reset" was published. This is such a large and colorful folio. The fact is that I completely digitized the entire archive of my father - photos, documents, posters, posters, troubles, programs. For a long time I studied newspapers in libraries.

It turned out about two thousand files. And this archive has become the basis for the book, it occupies about half of its content. I have already transferred this book to the regional library named after Dobrolyubov and the Central City Library named after Lomonosov. Creative and educational meetings with schoolchildren and students of the city of Arkhangelsk continue.

What is so special for them in the project? Vladimir Resetsky »One of his main goals sets work with youth. Therefore, the means of this work should be relevant and understandable to modern youth. So, in the framework of our project, modern digital features were created. A set of stickers in the image of Vladimir Resetsky using his expressions, sayings, special words has already been created.

Stickers can be downloaded for free and use them in your correspondence. We also developed a virtual avatar in the image of Vladimir Resetsky. Avatar plays on a saxophone, waves a hand, you can take a picture with it or record a joint video. And it will be interesting not only to young people, but also by a more adult audience. Tell us more about this event ... - The musicians who participated in the festivals held by the father will come to Arkhangelsk.

These are his friends, colleagues. All of them are the stars of Russian and world jazz. That is the highest level. The most interesting thing is that during this concert they will perform the compositions of Vladimir Resetsky. What they never did.
