Vladimir Lyadov Biography

After specialized preparatory courses, he entered the Moscow Medical Academy named after Ivan Mikhailovich Sechenov “The First Honey”, which he graduated with a red diploma and a gold medal for excellent studies in the city due to the fact that my parents are also doctors, from the first school courses I had the opportunity to often come to clinics, help nurses and doctors, to gradually become a doctor.

From the 3rd year, I studied at the so -called "scientific" faculty of the Academy. One of the important stages of study was the preparation of the thesis. When studying in the 5th year, I completed experimental work on the study of various materials to replace defects in the abdominal wall with hernias, which subsequently became the main part of my dissertation for the degree of candidate of sciences.

But, perhaps, the victory of the team of our student surgical circle “Cocher”, whose captain I was in the 5th year, in the All -Russian Student Surgical Olympiad, seems even more important to me. The prize received then - a stand for the endoscopic surgery of the Axiom company - has helped students in the circle to master the initial skills of modern surgery. And the friendship gained in those student years has no price at all.

Of great importance for my development was the internship in Germany. At the end of the 5th year, I received a scholarship in the President of the Russian Federation for long-term training abroad and spent the next year at the University Surgical Clinic of Marburg near Frankfurt-on-Maine. For 9 months of study, led by the President of the German Society of Surgeons of Professor Matias Rotmund and Professor Bertold Gerthes, I managed to assist more than operations on the organs of the chest and abdominal cavity.

In addition, I graduated from the base of the ultrasound diagnostics in the interdisciplinary center of Professor Christopher Gerga, gaining experience in the independent execution of ultrasound of the abdominal cavity and thyroid gland. The basic course of endoscopic surgery was held at the Academy of Esculap in the city of Tuttlingen. During the internship, I prepared materials for an article on the treatment of a rare disease - cancer of the parathyroid glands, which was later published in the international journal World Journal of Surgery.

Thanks to this time, I became a member of the oldest surgical professional community - the German Society of Surgeons. After returning from Germany, I entered the clinical residency of the Institute of Surgery. Vishnevsky in Moscow, which in those years was led by one of the largest Russian surgeons of the 20th century Academician Vladimir Dmitrievich Fedorov. These two years, spent in various departments of the institute under the guidance of wonderful doctors - professors Vladimir Alexandrovich Vishnevsky, Andrei Germanovich Krieger, Vyacheslav Ivanovich Egorov - laid the foundation for my development as a surgeon.

Over the years of residency, along with various conferences and congresses, I managed to get to two important foreign internships. In the spring of the first year of residency, thanks to my curator in residency, Alexander Kochakkov, I got into the scholarship program of the Caroline Institute in Stockholm. The goal of a three-month internship led by an amazing teacher of Professor Oka Andren-Sandberg in the surgery department of the upper sections of the gastrointestinal tract was to prepare a large overview work in English on the topic related to the treatment of pancreatic diseases.

I managed to prepare the book “Prognostic Factors in Resectable Pancreatic Cancer” “Factors of the Factors of the Pancreatic's Ground Resubbound Rask”, which was subsequently published in Russian and English. Since then, the study of factors that determine the course of the disease in each patient is my main scientific interest in oncology. Also during the years of residency, my acquaintance with American medicine took place.

In the year, I spent 2 weeks in the radio department of the largest American oncological center Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York under the leadership of the President of the American Society of radiologists of Professor Heidi Hidy Khitsak. After the residency of the year, I began to work as a surgeon and a duty doctor in the department of general surgery of the medical and rehabilitation center of the Ministry of Health, where before that I helped a lot as a student and resident.

Vladimir Lyadov Biography

Thanks to the work in the team of wonderful surgeons of Professor Valery Nikolayevich Egiev, Valery Sergeyevich Volkovedov, Alexander Lvovich Sokolov, Nikolai Alexandrovich Ermakov, I managed to quickly get comfortable as an independent specialist. The year dates back to my first extensive oncological surgery for stomach cancer, pancreas, colon, and other tumors.

Then experimental-clinical dissertation work was protected, dedicated to the study of materials for placement in the abdominal cavity in the treatment of hernias. But even then I realized that for me modern surgery is inextricably linked with cancer treatment, and constantly sought to develop the skills of conducting complex oncological operations, including a mini-invasive laparoscopic method.

A fairly significant experience in conducting these operations allowed me to get a place of the head of the new department of surgical oncology, which was formed in the medical and rehabilitation center in the city of 4.5 years in the department, a beautiful team of oncologists of various specialties was created in the department. Together, we managed to perform almost 15 thousand operations about a variety of oncological conditions, to prepare several dozen scientific publications in the largest Russian professional magazines.

The most important victory was the formation of an effective interdisciplinary consultation to discuss the tactics of each patient with a team of surgeons, chemotherapists, radiation therapists, radiologists. The recognition of the experience of our team was that from the year the department became the clinical base of the largest Russian Department of Oncology under the leadership of academician Irina Vladimirovna Poddubnaya.

Since then, I have been working as an assistant professor at the department, participating in the training of young oncologists. I believe that for each doctor it is extremely important to constantly improve qualifications. For me, the basis of self -improvement is regular training in the leading world centers of surgery, where you can draw not only practical experience, but also feel the development vector of our entire direction.

The training of me and the doctors of our pancreatic surgery team took place in Heidelberg university clinics Professor Buhler, Verona Professor Bassi, Stockholm Professor Del Kyaro, Sorbonne Clinics Professor Adam and Professor Kim Professor in Seoul, Cancer Carshurgy. stomach - at the National University Hospital Seoul Professor Young, esophageal surgery - at the University Hospital of St.

Maria Hong Kong Professor Lo and Virginia-Meyson Clinic Clinic Professor Lowe, Hydock Cancer Surgery-Professor Parvazi in the University Hospital of Porsmut. In general, success in the treatment of cancer is always the work of a coordinated experimental team of specialists. It is it that allows, based on the use of modern treatment standards, to develop and implement an individual therapy plan for each patient.
