Vitislav Hodarev Biography
The poet’s childhood and youth passed in the village of Lysogorsk, Georgievsky district. At the age of 18, V. Khorodarev, after graduating from a mining school, worked in the mines of Donbass. He served in the missile forces, was a correspondent of the Leninskaya Pravda newspaper in Georgievsk, the artist and secretary of the Komsomol organization on the Soviet Russia collective farm, and the assistant to the captain of the fire ship at the Caspian.
Having resigned, he tied his life with the Stavropol Regional Organization.
He headed the Bureau of Propaganda of Fiction of the Stavropol Regional Writing Organization. He was the chairman of the regional branch of the Union of Writers of Russia. Khodarev owns about 20 books. He is a laureate of three literary awards: them. Babaevsky, N. Furnadzhiev Bulgaria and K. Simonov with the presentation of a gold medal. Vitislav Khorodarev is a Terek Cossack, the initiator of the revival of the Cossacks in the Stavropol Territory, the first chairman of the organizational committee created for this.
In different years, the poems “The Height of Tolstov”, “Front strip”, “Stanitsa”, “Cossack circle”, “Cossack love”, “Cossack dreams”, other poems and poems of the poet, both previously published and again written, are devoted to the Cossacks. The initiator of the revival of the Cossacks in the Stavropol. And he remained in memory by the creator of the first in the history of the “spiritual anthem of the Cossacks”, blessed by the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Alexy II.
For his contribution to the spiritual revival of the Cossacks, his remarkable work, Vitislav Vasilievich is remembered and honor. And an example of this was the release of the book “Cossack storehouse of Vitislav Khorodarev”, which was implemented by the Hopes charity foundation as part of the project “Heritage of the Cossack Pushkin”, aimed at maintaining the memory of the Stavropol poet.
The Fund handed over to the SKDB named after Ekimtseva is five copies of the book “Cossack Monday of Vitislav Khodarev” and sixty -one instance of this publication for the subsequent transfer to the municipal children's libraries of Stavropol. The book presents his folklore finds - legends and proverbs, beliefs and fairy tales, forgotten words and games of the Terek Cossacks, as well as stories from the post -war life of the poet and memories of the people whom Vitislav Vasilievich knew.
