Biography of the writer Postnikov
Born: Autobiography: Good afternoon. My name is Valentin Postnikov, and it was so by chance that I am a children's writer and son of a famous children's writer. Probably, every child dreams, will be born in the family of a real storyteller, but not everyone succeeds. But I did it somehow magically, and I was born in the family of the famous children's writer Yuri Druzhkov, the author of the famous book “The Adventures of the Pencil and Samodelkin”.
Born - August 4 in Moscow. My mother, Natalya Postnikova, was the same was directly related to children's literature, as she worked in the famous children's publishing house "Baby". Being an editor, she often had to communicate with different famous fairy tales at that time: Korney Chukovsky, Sergey Mikhalkov, Nikolai Nosov, Viktor Dragunsky, Alexander Volkov and many other no less talented children's writers.
My mother was a beauty and therefore many writers looked after her. Once even a German millionaire got to her. But my mother fell in love and married precisely for my dad. From a very early age, I grew up in the family of a real storyteller. We always had a lot of people in our house, but mainly they were children's writers. Often there were famous artists in our house - for example, Viktor Chizhikov, the one that painted the Olympic bear in the year.
Once, I was very small on my knees even with the queen of children's writers - Astrid Lindgren, but at that moment I, of course, did not understand and did not realize who I was sitting on my knees. Dad often told me fairy tales, but especially often he told stories about a pencil and Samodelkin, because it was he who invented these heroes and that is why he loved them more than all other heroes.
When I was seven years old, I, like thousands of other children, went to school. But apparently this is the truth that the nature of geniuses, on children is resting, because I studied disgusting. I was bored and uninteresting to study. Very often I yawned, counted the raven in the window and dreamed. Very often it seems to parents that since the child writes works well and competently at the school, then he will certainly become a writer or journalist.
So dear parents are not true. Yes, it’s not true! For example, I managed to write a single essay at school. My mother did it for me. I could not write essays. Of course, I was very worried about this, but I completely calmed down when someone told me that the brilliant physicist Albert Einstein was at school, it turns out that I received three and deuces in physics lessons.
When I was thirteen years old, a very sad event took place in my family - my dad died. His books were loved and read all over the world. And in our country, despite all the unusual popularity of heroes, they were very rarely published. His second children's book “The Magic School of Pencil and Samodelkin” was published a month after his death and he did not manage to hold it in his hands.
When they asked me from early childhood: - Boy, who do you want to become? I immediately answered: - by anyone, but not a children's writer! I want to be a detective like Sherlock Holmes. In fact, in childhood I came up with one fabulous hero, who then became a rather popular fairy-tale hero. I wonder if at least one storyteller can boast of at least five years old began to come up with fairy tales?
And it was so! I really loved to draw, like all the children of my age. And once my dad told me: - Here you have the felt -tip pens, sit and draw! Probably, I, as always, interfered with him, and he decided to distract me at least something. And I had a favorite toy - a rubber tiger. So I drew him on a white sheet of paper. But this seemed to me little, and I painted a beautiful frame with petals around him.
Dad took my drawing and took to the exhibition of children's drawings, which was arranged by the magazine "Funny Pictures". And there quite unexpectedly, my drawing received the first prize. And then the editor-in-chief of the magazine said, and let someone write a fairy tale about this tigerka on Sunflower. And the fairy tale was composed by one very famous children's writer Yuri Koval.
The fairy tale was called - “Tigernok on Sunflower” and printed it in the magazine “Funny Pictures”. And a year later a wonderful cartoon was released on the screens, with the same name in which the wonderful actor Yevgeny Leonov told about my tigerinka. In the year, I graduated from school and went to work in the prosecutor's office. I did not leave my dream to become a detective and decided to work a little, albeit in the smallest position - a secretary.
And the very next year I went to serve in the army. And I found myself in the communications troops, there I learned to print it very well on a printing machine, which was very useful to me in the future. And, returning from the army, I did this to the law institute. But quite quickly I realized that, probably, the detective from me still would not work, but decided not to quit my studies, but to finish the institute.
It was then that my father’s genes woke up in me. Even in the second year of the institute, I began to compose fairy tales.I composed them and read to friends, acquaintances, beloved girl. And everyone liked my tales very much. And one fine day I thought, why should I try to become a professional storyteller like my dad. Well, in the end, because there are hereditary doctors, teachers, military and even actors.
Why cannot there be a hereditary storyteller. And I wrote a fairy tale - "New adventures of a pencil and Samodelkin." I so loved these heroes since childhood that I really wanted to write at least one more fairy tale about them. When I was thirty years old, I married the most beautiful girl in the world - Marusa. She is an artist by profession and therefore, probably, supports me in all my endeavors.
She is the first to read my books, and the first criticizes them. Since I started writing, I composed ten books about the adventures of a pencil and Samodelkin and I want to write a few more stories about our favorite heroes with a dad. Of course, I compose fairy tales not only about pencil and Samodelkin. You probably read such books as “Fun adventures of evil spirits” or “Harry’s boy and his dog Potter” “Prachka”?
So I also wrote them. More than anything, I dream of all my life to write fairy tales for children, just as my father or that kind old woman Astrid Lindgren, in whom I was on my knees, did. And I also want more than anything that these books would give you, my dear guys are pleasure. And even more than anything I love traveling. I have already traveled to half the world and I hope that I will still be able to visit various countries.
And everywhere where I visited, followed by me, my heroes - a pencil and Samodelkin. I really hope, my dear reader, that you will gladly read all my books or listen to them on disks. Books of the author:.
