For a working biography
Contacts “Labor Biography” are transferred to the figure from January 1 of the year to replace the paper work books by electronic, and paper counterparts become history. The work books in the usual paper form from a year will stop drawing up when hiring, and those who are already working will have an electronic duplicate of information from the year. The employer is obliged to notify each employee in writing of the right to choose the method of maintaining a work book in the personnel service and the deadline for the performance of this obligation is determined - on June 30.
For all working citizens, the transition to a new format of information about labor activity is voluntary and will be carried out only with the consent of the person. Until December 31, inclusive, it is necessary to submit a written statement to the employer in any form about maintaining the work book in electronic form or on the preservation of a paper work book.
If the employee has chosen the option of maintaining the work book in electronic form, then the paper work book is issued to the employee, an entry is made to the employee submitting the relevant application and the employer is exempted from liability for its storage. With a different choice or if the employee has not decided on the choice, the employer continues to maintain a work book on paper.
Regardless of the method of conducting work books in his personnel service, each employer submits to the Pension Fund information about the labor activity of employees. The maintenance of the work book in electronic form will be mandatory for citizens who will get a job for the first time in the year. Paper work books will not be issued for them. Since January, employers will submit to the Pension Fund information about the work of their employees on the basis of which electronic work books will be formed.
Citizens can receive information from an electronic work book in several ways: the employer in the MFC through a personal account on the PFR website or public services portal. If the employee, having received the data of his electronic work book, discovered a mistake, then he can contact the employer with a written statement. The employer is obliged to correct or supplement the information and send them to the Pension Fund.
These provisions are submitted to the Labor Code. Of course, if the employer himself found the mistake, he must also correct it. The electronic work book has several advantages. This will contribute to minimizing errors, inaccurate and inaccurate information. The information about labor activities received from employers will be used in the provision of public services.
