Grigory Plotnichenko Biography

Soon, parents moved to the city of recalling the children's years, Grigory Maksimovich said: "Father and mother were passionate lovers of the Kuban folk song, as well as good performers." Songs fell in love with the boy early, noticing this, the parents sent an 8-year-old son to a music school, where he studied the game for cello.
Only two years managed to study Gregory: the father died, because of the lack of funds at the music school, they stopped. But the music attracted him more and more. He completed this task willingly, since by this time he himself could play on several musical instruments: guitar, mandolin, balalaika, domra. In the year, the Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren opened in Krasnodar, and Plotnichenko was one of the first to sign up for the folk instruments orchestra.
In addition to playing the orchestra, Gregory performed at concerts with solo numbers on Mandolin and as a singer. In the summer of the year, he entered the conduct of the Krasnodar Music School of the Krasnodar Music School. Among the teachers were G. Kontsevich - a large expert on singing art, N. Preobrazhensky student M. Gnesin - one of the prominent figures of school musical education in the Kuban, pianist V.

But he did not lose heart, did not fail. One after another, his songs about the events of the formidable war years, about the exploits of Russian people: “Guards-mines”, “Sevastopol”, “Walking through the Don”, etc. In the summer of the year, Plotnichenko returns to Krasnodar, continues to study at a music school, participates in Shefa concerts in military hospitals.
The songs of the young composer are fame. After the war ended in the Gorky City Park, a solemn meeting of the winning warriors was arranged, where the Song of Kubank was made by G. This song turned out to be happy: it was published in the newspaper Sovetskaya Kuban. On the pages of this newspaper and literary and art almanac “Kuban” new songs of the composer began to appear.
For a whole year, G. Plotnichenko worked as a chormaster of the State ensemble of the song and dance of the Kuban Cossacks. Acquaintance with the folk songs of the Kuban helped the composer more deeply understand the nature of folk choral singing, its artistic traditions, developing which, he determined his creative principle. in the year, Plotnichenko's creative friendship with an amateur choral team of the Kuban Krasny Khutorok, which visited concerts in Moscow, ensued. Nevertheless, choral creativity is the main thing that the composer devoted himself to. And the first choral song, which deserves special attention, is “Kuban Blue Nights” to the verses of S. Kuban art critic V.Shcheglov called it "the musical symbol of our native land." In popularity, the melody of this choral song is simple. Grigory Maksimovich had great creative plans, he loved to work with the Kuban poets S. Khokhlov, I. Varavva, there were thoughts to write new songs to V. Bakaldin’s poems, he created the choir poem “Eternal Glory of the Obelisk” for his poems. A poem was written in the year - in the last days of the author’s life.
