The third place at the Russian championship in the year allowed skaters to take part in the Winter Olympic Games in Turin, where they became twelfth. Yana Khokhlova and Sergey Novitsky brought silver athletes at the Russian championship, fourth place at the European Championship and the eighth at the World Cup.

For Khokhlova, this was a great chance to declare herself again - she without long hesitation bought a plane ticket and returned from the States to Russia.

Yana successfully performed in the show "Ice Age.
