Ruslan Divakov Biography
Being a professional today is not necessary, more and more people are dancing "for themselves." Pa and turns are happy to master preschoolers, losing weight women and pop singers. You can treat the dance boom differently, but Ruslan Divakov is sure that this is a positive trend. Do you consider yourself the best? True, it all started hard. The place for school was given almost in the basement - in the hostel of the agricultural science on the street.
It was 10 years ago. I taught then alone, but I always wanted me to have my own team. My parents took me to the Smolensk Ball Dance Studio, when I was there, I picked up for 10 years.
And I can say, I dance well. But what am I the best? Let others talk about it if they think so. Jazz, modern, Afro-jazz and blues jazz-I studied this with teachers known throughout the world. But I have no higher choreographic education. And thank God, otherwise I would be “spoiled”, like many others. What are we teaching? Folk dance? The classics are given, of course, but still many guys who come to us to study here have to retrain, because they do not own any modern dance after our educational institutions.
I can say this completely openly. Isn't it early? Classes in plastic, rhythm, elementary protozoa movements - the main thing is that the children correctly make a “foundation”. My main task is now, the goal, if you want, create a state school of modern dance in Smolensk. We want to hold an action - to recruit a free group of children to our dance school. After all, there are parents whose children are talented, but going to paid classes is expensive.
Do you think dancing is for everyone? And it's great. The dance generally increases the mood. He is akin to the elixir of joy and youth. As for the broadcasts on TV, I don’t really look at them. But they have very good productions. People want to dance - let them dance. Any dance is a small performance where everything is important - costumes, and idea, and music, and meaning but do not confuse mass training and serious choreography.
If the children came, then they need to be taught qualitatively, and not just give some pop Soviet dances. You write so, do not hesitate. In Soviet times, all this Western culture was generally prohibited, we could not. The ballroom dance is now considered sports, and earlier contests on it were held underground. Previously, there was such a concept - “Soviet pop dance”, even textbooks were with that name.
But in fact it is not clear what it is. No technique! Abroad, modern choreography has always had separate directions, everywhere there is the basis that you need to know. And we still teach everyone a pop dance is not clear how. This is a step ten years ago. But the fact is that fitness itself is boring and all the aerobics is boring, this is a repetition of the same movements - except that the music can be changed.
Therefore, instructors are trying to somehow diversify these programs. But in general, I think this is far from dancing, this is just a way to attract people. Now is the time when everything is mixed up. Steels are mixed in clothes, and in dance, and in music. And no one forbade improvised. Do you follow fashion? On you, a fashionable vest in a fashionable color I usually put on what I like, and I think that it is not necessary to monitor fashion.
But I understand the clothes. By the way, I graduated from the Sewe School. How are Russian dancers accept there? They took well, especially Japan and Taiwan. For them, we are exotic. And in Turkey and Egypt there are many Russians, they don’t care what to look, if only the show was good. In Taiwan, by the way, we almost became victims of the earthquake. They lived in the mountains, and the epicenter was in the ocean.
But we were also shaking, we ran out into the street at night, stood like that all night, waited for it to end. Even the water in the pool was worried. Unusual, of course. You sleep, and suddenly you have a dream that you are on the ship. You wake up - it turns out that the bed is moving back and forth. And you think: what will happen next? I answer yes. Absolutely anyone, if he has a desire.
Dance is practice. I am still learning myself. As soon as you stop studying, you stop. And by the way, a figure for dance is not the main thing. If we talk about full, lush people, they always have better plastic. They are much softer. We must think about the dance, not about the figure, this is not a modeling business. And the dance is a state of mind, for me it is something sacred.
