Biography of Evdokimov Nikolai

Born on August 23 in the village of Gnetovo, Bogotolsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. After graduating from nine classes of secondary school, he entered the professional lyceum of Achinsk College, where he received the profession of a gas -electric welder. In years, military service was held in the company of the Snipers of the Guards Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of the Eastern Military District, Borzya, Trans -Baikal Territory.

Having quit the reserve, he went to work in the Republic of Sakha Yakutia. He worked as a gas welder: first, in the company “Vilyuigessstroy” on the construction of a high-voltage power line, then three years in the Mirnian exploration party, then in the underground mine of the Labor Mining and Processing Plant of the ALROSA joint-stock company, the city of Udachny, Mirninsky district.

He became a gas welder of the 5th category. He mastered a number of related professions, including a drilling machine operator. In September, in the framework of partial mobilization, Nikolai Evdokimov was drafted into the armed forces. He was directed to the SE Separate Guards Special Purpose Brigade of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Constant Deployment - the city of Khabarovsk.

During the fighting against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he repeatedly showed sniper skills, courage and dedication, for which he was awarded the medal “For Courage”. In one of the battles, the colleague of Nikolai was severely wounded on the combat contact line. Three groups alternately went out to carry out a combat mission - the evacuation of the wounded comrade, but to unsuccessfully, in addition, one person from the evacuation group was wounded.

Guard Corporal Evdokimov decided to follow the wounded one. It is secretive so as not to fall into the field of view of enemy drones and snipers, he overcame a distance of meters, spending for this four hours. Having provided first medical care to the wounded fighter, he dragged him to his position for another four hours. The task was completed, the life of a soldier was saved.

By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation “closed” from April for courage and heroism manifested in the performance of military duty, the guard, corporal Evdokimov Nikolai Vladimirovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the award of a special distinction - the Golden Star medal.
