Grigory Petrovich Grabova was born on November 14 in the village of Kirovsky in the village of Bogara, Kirovsky District, the Chimkent region of Kazakhstan. Following this, a number of activists of the Beslan Mother Committee and State Duma deputies sent an appeal to the prosecutor general of Russia with a request to give a legal assessment of Grabovoy’s activities [25].

In the PRCC release, published on the official website of the Prosecutor General’s Office, it was indicated that “the audit is carried out on the facts set forth in the media publications, since to the present, neither the prosecutor’s office nor the internal affairs bodies received a single appeal of the affairs of Grabovoy’s activities” [38]. About 30 Grabovoy followers tried to prevent his arrest, but the police managed to withdraw him from the hotel through the back door [31]. Grabovoy lawyers tried to get his release from the pre -trial detention center, but on May 17, the Moscow City Court rejected their complaint [21]. Representatives of the press service of the prosecutor's office explained to reporters that the grab is blamed for 11 episodes of theft of citizens' funds under the guise of "the resurrection of the dead relatives of the victims or the cure of their serious diseases" [20].

However, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office for revision [18]. The investigation took five months to eliminate the shortcomings in the case file.

The most grab, in custody in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center since April 5, was extended until March 20 [18]. The court refused to satisfy all petitions and decided to send Grabovoy to a psychological and psychiatric examination, but on September 10, the Moscow City Court canceled the decision of the Tagansky court, and the case was sent back to continue consideration on the merits [14]. In January, a new episode was introduced to the case: another victim testified to how she was promised to resurrect her granddaughter for money.

Lawyers and supporters of Grabovoy argued that the process over Grabov began to acquire a political shade, since not a single episode of the indictment of Beslan concern [13]. The first prosecutor, Elena Senyushina, demanded the sentence of the accused of large -scale grab fraud by 12 years in prison. For their part, Grabovoi’s lawyers asked for an acquittal, claiming that there was no crime in the actions of their client, and referring to an unfair study of evidence [12].

It was reported that according to the verdict, he will serve his sentence in a general regime colony.
